Refund Policy

This policy explains the refund scope, application process, and payment verification procedures for VPNOwn subscriptions. Please read it before paying and keep your order and payment records.

Application Window and Refund Scope

You may request a full refund for any reason within 30 days of your first payment. The application window starts when your account's first payment is successfully processed. It does not start when you create a username, download a client, or connect for the first time. When submitting a request, identify the order you want refunded so that separate orders are not treated as one.

Monthly subscriptions and data packages are both reviewed under this policy. Normal use of the service or partial data consumption alone is not grounds for denying the refund commitment above. This policy does not set a data usage percentage, number of connections, or number of devices as a refund threshold, nor does it require proof of a service issue for a refund request made for any reason.

Renewals, additional data packages, and mid-cycle upgrades do not restart the application window that began with your first payment. If your request involves multiple payments, list each one in the support ticket so customer service can explain the verification results for each.

Eligibility Limits and Disputed Transactions

Orders outside the application window above are not covered by this full-refund commitment for any reason. An order that has already been refunded cannot be refunded again, and an order that was never successfully paid has no collected payment to return. If your payment provider shows a charge but the panel does not show a successful payment, first check the payment status.

If there is an unusual data usage pattern, an account policy violation, or a dispute over who placed an order, customer service will review the usage issue and payment facts separately. An account restriction does not determine the refund outcome, and a payment cannot be deemed non-refundable solely because an account is restricted. If more information is needed or there is a dispute about how the request is handled, explain the reason and the items to be checked in your support ticket.

Data packages do not expire, but this usage rule does not extend the refund application window indefinitely. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date; this does not change when the refund period starts.

How to Apply and What to Provide

Log in to the user panel and submit your refund request through the support ticket portal. You can simply write “I’d like to request a refund”; you do not need to explain your personal reasons for no longer using the service. Keep the original ticket, and use it for any follow-up information and status checks.

  • Provide the order number, package name, and payment date for the order you want refunded.
  • State the amount paid and whether you paid with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT.
  • If the charge or order status does not match, attach the relevant payment record and redact information unrelated to this review.
  • If the request involves an upgrade or multiple payments, explain how the orders are related and which ones are covered by the request.

A VPNOwn account can be created with a username and password; no email address is required. Refund discussions take place through account support tickets. Do not submit your account password, full subscription link, payment password, or wallet private key. If information is missing, customer service will specify what is needed in the ticket.

Refund Method and Status Updates

Refunds are generally returned through the original payment method. Alipay and WeChat Pay transactions must be checked against the original transaction record. If the provider cannot return the payment through the original route, explain the situation in the ticket and confirm a workable method first. Refunds are not automatically converted to account credit or another service.

Information review, refund submission, and receipt of funds are separate steps. The time it takes to receive a refund depends on the payment provider and transaction status; this policy does not promise a fixed processing time. Customer service should explain the current stage in the ticket. After the refund is submitted, check the transaction history of the original payment account as well.

If the refund is marked as submitted but has not arrived, add the results of your inquiry to the original ticket so customer service can check the return record. Do not submit the same refund request again because the funds have not yet arrived.

USDT and Special Payment Handling

USDT transfers follow a different refund process from Alipay and WeChat Pay. Before processing, the original transaction proof, network used, and recipient details must be checked. The return method, amount, and any applicable channel fees should be clearly stated and confirmed in the support ticket. Do not assume an exchange rate or deduction rule.

Verify the recipient details through the support ticket before proceeding. On-chain transactions are usually difficult to reverse once submitted, and a mismatched address or network may affect delivery. If the original payment route is unavailable, both parties should first confirm an alternative route and the required information before arranging the refund.

Refund outcomes and service handling for related orders are based on the support ticket record. For other account and service rules, see the Terms of Service; for information handling, see the Privacy Policy. These rules should not be interpreted as reducing the refund commitments expressly stated on this page.
